Kindergarten FAQs
All children who reside in the Camden Fairview School District and are 5 years old on or before August 1 are eligible to enroll in the FES Kindergarten program. We’re excited to see your child on Day 1 of their school journey!
Kindergarten Enrollment
When does school start? The first day of school is July 29, 2026.
Why register by July 10? Early registration = a smoother start! Students registered by July 10 are placed in classes early so teachers can prepare for them. Late registration may delay your child’s first day.
Do Pre-K students follow the same registration process? Yes! Even if your child attends Camden Fairview Early Childhood Education Center, families will complete kindergarten registration and bring required documents to Kindergarten Round-Up.
- 🚌Pre-K students will visit Fairview Elementary School on May 1 at 8:30 AM.
- 👩🏽⚕️A physical is required if your child hasn’t had one in the last two years.
When will I find out my child’s teacher? Class lists will be posted July 22.
What school supplies are needed? Supply lists are available here.
