Camden Fairview Middle School Earns Second Set of OEP Growth Awards

October 1, 2026

CAMDEN, AR — The Camden Fairview Middle School Cardinals are beating the odds, and the awards keep coming.

Camden Fairview Middle School (CFMS) has earned a second set of honors from the University of Arkansas Office for Education Policy (OEP) for student performance on the Spring 2026 ATLAS Summative Assessment. OEP’s Beating the Odds awards recognize schools where students demonstrated high academic growth despite economic challenges outside of school.

CFMS ranked among the top five middle schools in the Southwest Region for math, English language arts, and science growth. The school earned the region’s highest growth in science.

The three Beating the Odds awards join CFMS’s earlier OEP honors for High Overall Growth, High ELA Growth, and High Science Growth in the Southwest Region.

“The dedication and hard work our educators and staff have put in over the last three years are making a positive impact on our students’ experiences at CFMS,” said Principal Ka’Misha Davis. “Every lesson, every intervention, every encouraging word, and every time a student is pushed to believe they can do more, we know those moments are shaping our students’ futures. Our students are taking ownership of their learning and showing up ready to learn. We’re incredibly proud of everyone at CFMS.”

CFMS celebrates its students and educators for their continued growth and thanks the families who support them every day.
