One Good Thing:

On Friday night, we celebrated the Camden Fairview High School Class of 2026 at Cardinal Stadium surrounded by family, friends, teachers, and the community that supported them along the way.

This Tuesday, we'll celebrate another special milestone: FES Kindergarten Graduation!

There's something special about seeing the journey from kindergarten to graduation. One group of Cardinals is preparing for what comes next, while another is just beginning their journey at Camden Fairview. Moments like this remind us why we do this work, why family and community support is vital, and why every stage of our students' journey matters.

Important Reminder:

May 2026 Calendar Adjustments

Following the recent closure due to storm damage and power outages, Camden Fairview School District is required to make up one school day. As you may remember, the five inclement weather days built into our 2025–2026 calendar were used during the January ice storm.

To ensure we meet state requirements for instructional days, we’ve made the following adjustments to our May calendar:

There will be no more Early Out Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year.

Thursday, May 28, will change from a 2-hour early dismissal to a regular school day.

Friday, May 29, will now be a student instruction day instead of a staff professional development day.

On Friday, May 29, students will be dismissed 2 hours early. The staff end-of-year professional development event will take place after dismissal.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we make these adjustments to serve our students well through the end of the year.

The 2026-27 CFSD Calendar is now available online. Our first day of school will be Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Please remember all visitors should enter through the school's front entrance, bring a photo ID, and be prepared to complete our standard visitor screening process. Cardinal Athletics:

Cardinal Football Spring Updates:

7th and 8th grade football players will work out at CFMS and dismiss at the bell. They will return to CFHS for off-season workouts on May 26 and May 28 before moving into summer workouts.

High school football practice schedule:

Monday & Wednesday: until 5:15 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: until 4:30 PM

2026-27 Tryouts

Please remember that all participants must have a current physical and health history form completed to participate.

May 19: 8th Grade Boys Basketball (4:00–5:15 PM, Middle School Gym)

May 19: 9th Grade Boys Basketball (5:30–6:45 PM, Middle School Gym)

May 26: Varsity Boys Basketball (4:00–5:30 PM, High School Gym)

May 28: There will be another round of tryouts for 7th & 8th Grade Volleyball. All participants should make plans to attend. More details will be shared tomorrow.
