What are the hours of operation?
Our instructional day is from 8:00AM to 3:19PM. Breakfast begins at 7:20AM. Car-riders and bus-riders are dismissed at 3:19PM.
How does the car line work at CFHS?
Please enter CFHS using either entrance from Cash Road and proceed to the front of CFHS. All students should be dropped off and picked up in front of the building at the main entrance.
What classes do 9th graders need to take?
A full overview of the CFHS Course Catalog is available here. The CFHS counseling department is staffed by two full-time counselors, a career coach, and a counselors’ clerk. Their contact information is available here. Requirements and credits for graduation begin with 9th grade coursework. Twenty-four (24) units (credits) must be successfully completed for graduation. Please note that students must be enrolled in six (6) courses each year that qualify for graduation credit to ensure graduation within four (4) years.
When will my student receive their class schedule? Will they get to see their classrooms and meet their teachers before school starts?
9th graders will pick up their schedules on August 9 from 8:30AM-3PM. CFHS will host an Open House at 5PM on August 13th. During Open House, students will tour the building, meet their teachers, and see their classrooms. You may also download the Camden Fairview app and follow us on social media to stay up-to-date.
Is my child's homeroom teacher my main point of contact?
At CFHS, students have 7 class periods and are in each class the same amount of time. You are encouraged to contact any of your student's teachers with questions or concerns. A faculty email directory is available here. Home Access Center (HAC) is also available to monitor your student's grades and may be accessed here.
