2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration

All children who reside in the Camden Fairview School District and are 5 years old on or before August 1 are eligible to enroll in the FES Kindergarten program. Please click here to learn more about our online enrollment process and registering your child for the 2025-2026 school year.

Kindergarten Enrollment FAQs

  • My child attends preschool at Camden Fairview Early Childhood Education Center. Do we follow the same registration process as families new to Camden Fairview? Great question! Yes, this year all incoming kindergartners will use the Kindergarten Registration link, upload registration documents, and complete the kindergarten physical.

  • What are the hours of operation? Our instructional day is from 7:55AM to 3:00PM. Breakfast begins at 7:30AM, and car-riders are dismissed at 3:00PM. Bus-riders are dismissed at 3:10PM. Walkers are dismissed at 3:15PM. Students must be picked up by 3:30PM.

  • How will I know who my child’s teacher is? Class lists will be shared on July 25 at 4:00 PM through ParentSquare and posted on the FES front door. The first day of school this year is July 30. We will also host an Open House after school begins.

  • What school supplies does my child need? School supply lists are available here. We will provide an updated list for 2025-26 this summer.

  • Why is it important to complete registration and provide all documents? We can’t enroll your child or assign them to a classroom teacher until the registration process is complete and all required documents are turned in! We’re excited to see your child on the first day of school, so please make sure to complete your child’s registration by July 15. Families who do not complete registration may not be able to begin school on the first day.

Registration documents include:

The following documents are required to complete registration:

  • Proof of Residency in Camden Fairview School District (ex. current utility bill or statement with parent/guardian’s name and address dated within the past 30 days).
  • Kindergarten Physical. Schedule an appointment with your child's primary care physician. Physicals are due before school begins.

FES Daily FAQs:

How does morning drop-off work at FES? Car-riders must use the car-line to drop off students before 7:55 AM. The car-line closes at 8:00 AM. Only buses are allowed to enter the front drive to unload students. Breakfast begins at 7:30 AM. Our classes begin learning at 7:55 AM.

How does afternoon dismissal work at FES? We have three dismissal groups. Adults should only enter FES to pick up students if they are checking out early for an appointment.

  • Car-riders are dismissed at 3:00 PM.

  • Bus-riders are dismissed at 3:05 PM.

  • Walk-ups (students whose parent/guardian parks and walks up to the front door after bus dismissal) are dismissed at 3:15 PM.

What if I need to change my child’s transportation home?

  • Transportation changes must be made before 2:00 PM. This includes what bus a student rides, if they’re a car-rider or bus-rider, etc. There will be no changes after 2:00 PM. This ensures staff knows how all students are going home and can help them to the correct dismissal area.

  • Transportation changes must be made in writing. Send a note with your child to their teacher. If you need to email a change, please send an email before 2:00 PM to Mrs. Robertson at krobertson@cfcards.net

How much are cafeteria breakfasts and lunches? All Camden Fairview students eat free breakfasts and lunches!

What does my child need every day? Please send a reusable water bottle with your child’s name on it. Please keep a Ziploc bag with an extra change of clothes in your child’s backpack in case of accidents.

How will I know what’s happening at school?

  • It’s important to check your child’s backpack daily; teachers will use daily and weekly communicators to keep families updated on what’s happening in your child’s classroom.

  • We also use ParentSquare to communicate with families. Learn more about how CFSD uses ParentSquare to help families stay connected to their child’s school community.

  • Keep your contact information current at all times. If your contact information changes, please share the updated information with your child’s teacher and the building registration secretary. We use your cell phone number, home number, and email address to send ParentSquare notifications through text, email, and phone calls. The nurse and front office will also use those numbers if your child becomes ill at school.
