Camden Fairview is conducting a Level 2 High Reliability School (HRS) survey from January 25, 2002, through February 11, 2022. The district is seeking input from school administration, staff, parents, and 3-12 grade students. “The HRS Level 2 survey data provides us with important insights on our progress strengthening all our learning systems. The High Reliability School framework goes hand-in-hand with the work we’re doing with our PLC process and our partnership with Arkansas Rural Educator Network,” said Superintendent Johnny Embry.
According to the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, the Marzano High Reliability Schools framework “shows how best practices work together and provides indicators to empower districts and schools to measure their progress on attaining five increasing levels of reliability”: 1) safe, supportive, and collaborative culture; 2) effective teaching in every classroom; 3) guaranteed and viable curriculum; 4) standards-referenced reporting; and 5) competency-based education. Through the HRS framework, DESE claims “districts and schools can drive permanent, positive, and significant impacts on student achievement by synthesizing multiple complex initiatives into one harmonious system.”
