Camden Fairview Announces Back to School Events

Back-to-school is a busy time for families! Here are the back-to-school events happening in August throughout Camden Fairview. Camden Fairview’s first day of school is August 14, 2023.

August 8
CFHS | 9th Grade Orientation | 6PM. During orientation, students will receive class schedules, meet teachers, and tour classrooms. Attending orientation is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. If your family misses orientation, you can come anytime from 8:30-3:30 on August 9 or 10. CFHS students should bring $5 for their ID badge.

August 9
CFMS | 6th Registration/Schedule Pickup is from 8:30AM-3:00PM, and 6th Grade Orientation will follow at 6:00PM. 6th grade families may come during the day to pick up schedules or wait until orientation. Attending orientation is not mandatory if students have registered and received their schedule, but it’s strongly encouraged. During orientation, students will receive class schedules, meet teachers, and tour classrooms. All CFMS students should bring $8 for locker and agenda fees.

CFECEC | Preschool Registration | 8:30AM - 3:30PM (by appointment)

August 10

CFMS | 7th & 8th Grade Registration & Schedule Pickup | 8:30AM - 3:00PM. Students should bring $8 for locker and agenda fees.

CFHS | 10th Grade Registration & Schedule Pickup | 8:30AM - 3:30PM. CFHS students should bring $5 for their ID badge.

FES & Ivory | by appointment | Cardinals Meet & Greet/Assessment Day gives us the opportunity to assess students' literacy and math skills prior to the start of the year, allowing us to gain a better understanding of the needs and skills of every student. Families get to meet their students’ teachers one-on-one and see their classroom! At FES, parents/guardians will visit information stations to learn more about FES during students’ assessment time. In early August, K-5 staff will begin calling families to schedule assessment times. Staff will not have class assignment info at that time. Class lists will be posted on FES and Ivory Intermediate’s front doors at 4PM on Friday, August 4, and sent via family text/email alert.

At the end of August, Camden Fairview will be hosting Open House events at all campuses. During Open House, families will learn more about our schools, visit classrooms, and meet other Cardinal families.

Kindergarten registration is open now at https://bit.ly/3pJl57S. Online registration to update information for returning students will open July 25. Returning students are already in our system and included on class lists and schedules.
