Camden Fairview Educators Selected for Arkansas Leadership Academy Programs

#WeAreCamdenFairview - Several Camden Fairview educators were recently selected to attend Arkansas Leadership Academy programs. According to their website, Arkansas Leadership Academy works throughout the state to “realize educational equity and excellence for Arkansas students by providing educational leaders with professional learning pathways to best meet their needs while developing leadership capacity to result in systemic change, leading to improved teaching and learning.”

Congratulations to Christy Reynolds, Tammy Woodberry, and Carolyn Pfiefer on their acceptance to the Teacher Leader Program! The Teacher Leader Program prepares participants for formal and informal teacher leadership roles in their schools and district that allow them to lead from the classroom. Ms. Reynolds teaches agriculture at CFHS, while Ms. Woodberry and Mrs. Pfiefer are second grade teachers at FES.

Congratulations to Ivory Intermediate’s math facilitator Gaila Easter and assistant principal Donna Khan on their acceptance to the Instructional Empowerment Program! This program supports growth through a focus on improving instruction in the classroom. Sessions focus on strengthening instructional leaders’s skillset and ability to impact and support classroom teachers and instruction in the classroom.

Congratulations to Assistant Superintendent Tara Armstrong on her selection to the Executive Leader Empowerment Program! ELE provides growth opportunities for educational leaders by providing professional learning and sharing opportunities from both national subject matter experts and local Arkansas educators. Sessions focus on providing executive leaders the tools to strengthen their impact and support a positive school culture, building principals, classroom teachers, classified staff, and instruction in the classroom.
