Fairview Elementary Selected for Systems of Support Project

#CardinalPride - Congratulations to Fairview Elementary School! FES has been selected by the Office of Special Projects and the Arkansas Department of Education to participate in the Systems of Support project. Through this project, FES will receive support and partnership services through a network of partner schools and districts combined with individual services facilitated by Solution Tree experts and Arkansas practitioners as our educators continue the work of implementing and sustaining the practices of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). We are excited to continue growing a collaborative culture focused on student learning!

Thank you to the 2022-23 FES leadership team who worked so hard throughout the application process: principal Treasa Thrower, assistant principal Iris Harris-Davis, Dean of Students Melanie Castleberry, facilitators Jessica May, Kelly Parson, and Marvanna Merritt, Director of Intervention Jimna Betts, and dyslexia interventionist Alyssa Bumpass. We are excited to build on this strong foundation in 2023-24 with two new team members, principal Kim Scarbrough and math facilitator Ikela Frazier.
