Heather James Chosen as CFSD and CFHS Teacher of the Year

#CardinalPride - We are proud to announce that the 2023 Camden Fairview District Teacher of the Year is Heather James! Ms. James was also chosen as the Camden Fairview High School Teacher of the Year. Ms. James has 5 years of service at Camden Fairview, teaching World History and AP World History. She graduated from Camden Fairview in 2013 and received a Bachelor of Science in Education - Social Science from Henderson State University in 2017. She is currently working to complete a master’s degree in Library Media and Information Specialist. She is a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society.

Ms. James is the student council sponsor, received the Teacher Impact Award from the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Science in 2022, and was voted Most Supportive Teacher by CFHS students this year. Ms. James believes an effective educator transcends the classroom, values the child over the assignment, and enjoys supporting her students in events outside of school hours. Congratulations, Ms. James!
