CFHS Junior Kerrstyn DeWoody Selected for Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Youth Tour

#CardinalPride - Congratulations to CFHS junior Kerrstyn DeWoody! Kerrstyn was selected by Ouachita Electric Cooperative to spend a week in our nation's capital as a member of the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Youth Tour!

Each year, Ouachita Electric Cooperative selects outstanding high school juniors to attend the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Youth Tour. This year’s all-expenses-paid educational trip to Washington, D.C. will take place June 16-22. Kerrstyn and other students selected to participate have an opportunity to earn a $5,000 scholarship, tour the U.S. Capitol, meet their U.S. Representatives and Senators, tour museums like the Smithsonian Institution and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and visit historic sites and memorials like Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery and the Lincoln Memorial.
