Camden Fairview families are eligible for Pandemic-EBT benefits if their student was absent due to COVID-19 during the 2021-2022 school year. The Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) is a federal program. The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, in collaboration with the Department of Human Services, received approval to operate this program in response to the COVID-19 related school closures. P-EBT provides food supports to help families with children who were receiving free and reduced-price school meals pay for food. Since Camden Fairview is a Provision 2 school, all students qualify for free/reduced-price meals.
To be eligible for P-EBT, the student must have been absent due to COVID-19. If families did not report the student's absence as due to COVID-19 at the time of the absence, documentation from a medical provider must be provided to CFSD. Families will receive $7.10 for each day their student was absent due to COVID-19. Benefits are only allowed on planned school calendar days and are not allowed on weekends or holidays.
Families have until July 29, 2022, to submit forms to Camden Fairview School District. Forms are available online here, and paper forms may be picked up at Camden Fairview Central Office, 625 Clifton Street. Families must fill out a separate form for each student in their household. Families with questions may contact CFSD Food Services Director at lsutton@cfsd.k12.ar.us.
