Our retiring educators have impacted countless lives during their time in the classroom and in our schools. Camden Fairview students and staff are all better for having known them. Thanks to Anita Stafford, Patty Davis, Angela Utsey, Cynthia Outlaw, Linda Torrence, Sandra Gulley, JJ Mosley, Paula Graves, and Marilyn Johnson for making a difference. Because of you, we're proud to say #WeAreCamdenFairview.

Three employees were recognized who have reached service milestones of 35 or more years, Gwendolyn Stennis, Cecelia Brown-Lockhart, and Angela Utsey. Mrs. Stennis has reached 45 years of service to Camden Fairview students, while Ms. Brown-Lockhart and Ms. Utsey each have 35 years of service. Thank you, ladies, for your dedication and commitment to education!

42 district employees were recognized for service milestones, ranging from five years to 25 years. Each employee plays an important role in educating and supporting every student at Camden Fairview, and we value their commitment to education and to our students.

We were also excited to announce the Camden Fairview District Teacher of the Year: Mrs. Ashley Lilly! Congratulations, Mrs. Lilly! Our 2021-2022 Building Teachers of the Year, chosen by their peers, were also recognized:

FES: Patty Davis

Ivory Primary: Tammy Woodberry

CFIS: Athenia Dodds

CFMS: LaQueisha Messer

CFHS: Ashley Lilly

Thank you to the following sponsors for providing prizes for our Teachers of the Year winners. We appreciate your support!

To select the District Teacher of the Year, each building winner had the opportunity to complete the Arkansas Teacher of the Year application, which was reviewed and scored by a committee. The application with the highest cumulative score earned District Teacher of the Year honors. Thank you to Mrs. Shelia Johnson, Dr. Alyssa Scott-Nutt, Mr. Robert White, Dr. Neelie Dobbins, and South Central Service Cooperative's Jennifer Murphy for serving on the committee!
