FES Provides Dismissal Updates
FES families, we’re making some important updates to ensure our afternoon dismissal runs safely and efficiently for our students and staff. We appreciate your help as we make these adjustments together.

πŸ”˜ Families using the walk-up area to pick up their car-riders should enter using Red Bud and park in one of the parking lots as shown.

πŸ”˜ Please continue to merge at the sign at the end of the outdoor classroom pavilion; the steps the Fairview Park will be to your left. We will have permanent signs up soon to help drivers know when to merge. Please have your car-rider number and name card visible when you merge. Thank you to our staff who created the signs lining the fence last week!

πŸ”˜ There will be no transportation changes after 2:00PM daily. If your child has a transportation change for the day, you must send a note to school with your child or call the FES main office before 2:00PM. No changes will be made after 2:00PM. Please understand that this is necessary to ensure that our students are where they need to be and our staff is not reacting to last minute changes as the buses arrive and teachers are walking students out.

πŸ”˜ Families should use the car-line drive-through, or you may park and walk-up to the car-rider waiting area where Mrs. Thrower will assist you. Please do not enter the FES building to pick up car-riders. Families using the car-line and walk-up area help us ensure students are where they need to be at the end of the day.

πŸ”˜ Our instructional day is very important to students and teachers, and our teachers teach from the first bell at 7:55AM to the last bell at 2:55PM. Please help us ensure your student is not missing valuable learning time by being on time every morning and only checking your student out if necessary in the afternoon. As outlined in our student handbook, students arriving after 8:10AM or checking out before 2:45PM will receive a tardy. Students arriving after 9:00AM or leaving before 2:00PM will receive a half-day absence.

Thank you for helping us make dismissal time as safe and efficient as possible!
