CFHS Alum Tevin Wooten Returns to Inspire Students

On Friday February 18, The Weather Channel meteorologist Tevin Wooten spoke to members of Mr. Dallas McCullough's Project Lead the Way classes, Mrs. Lilly’s A/V Tech and Film Class, and Mrs. JJ Mosley's Oral Communications classes. His overall message to students was, “Take advantage of every opportunity.” During his time, Mr. Wooten talked about his beginnings in the field, how he advocated for himself, and what students could do to make things happen for themselves. At the end, Mr. Wooten engaged students in a discussion and answered their questions. 

Wooten is a 2011 graduate of Camden Fairview High School. He has won an Emmy for his weather reporting and has recently been named to Forbes 30 under 30. Camden Fairview is proud of Tevin’s many accomplishments and his willingness to make time to inspire CFHS students!
